Studying the effect of the gap on the properties of laser butt welds
Holub, Matyáš ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
This thesis studies the impact of gaps on the properties of laser butt weld performed. For experiment was chosen DC01 ordinary steel and stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 (1.4301) with different thicknesses. The welding parameters depending on the gap between the welded plates remain constant. In the experimental part of the samples were welded using the Yb:YAG laser and compared to the tensile test, macrostructure, microstructure and Vickers hardness. At the end of the thesis are drawn experimental results.

This thesis is bent proposal synchronic motor with permanent magnets. Here are described characteristic synchronic motors, permanent magnets and possibilites construction. This thesis is sorted from common description, feature and principle function. Here are also mentioned benefits and disadvantages synchronic motors with permanent magnets. Main volume of work is proposal synchronic motor with various modifications. Proposal is realized in program Ansys Maxwell (modulus RMxpert). Engine data are entered from program Excel, where is state full calculation input and output parameters. Value is tested from [11]. Aim those work are various modification synchronic motor and his analysis.
The GAP in Brno
Mojzesová, Šárka ; Hudeček, Vladimír (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the design of an apartment building whose primary function is to fill a gap in Brno in the town district of Černá Pole – specifically on the street Traubova. The area in question lies close to the historic centre. Although it is surrounded by two busy and noisy roads, the selected gap provides a quiet and private corner. At present, the property has mature greenery and a garden for an apartment building in the courtyard. The aim of this work is to effectively complete the missing house in the development, to build on the surrounding structures and to provide new housing in the city centre. The location has good amenities and perfect accessibility from which to draw. The proposal offers a purely accommodation function with additional space for expanding relations within the building's community and respects the proximity of the detached apartment building in the interior.
Charakter construction : character within fictional worlds and storyworlds
Staniševská, Aneta ; Zuska, Vlastimil (advisor) ; Dadejík, Ondřej (referee)
The thesis being presented aims to stress the differences between characters in fictional worlds and characters in storyworlds by means of question of possibilities and limits of reader's inferences. The aims of this thesis is to prove that storyworld construed as a mental model manages to avoid some problems that relate to fictional worlds theories. First chapter provides an insight into the issue of definitions and theories of character and places cognitive approaches to character within it. Since a concept of fictional world and a concept of storyworld are often construed as very alike, in the second chapter, there are two opposed opinions concerning reader's activity during a construction of fictional world; that is theories of Lubomír Doležel and Marie-Laure Ryan. By means of their mutual comparision, the distinctive status of fictional character concerning reader's inferences is being emphasized that further bears a decisive role within theory of Umberto Eco of which a core is presented in chapter three. The link between story comprehension and construction of fictional character is a centre of interest of chapter four, where cognitive approaches are represented by theories by Alan Palmer and David Herman. This chapter presents storyworld and character within it as open and fluid flexible....

Experimental assessment of the role of biotic interactions in community species pool delimitation
ŠVAMBERKOVÁ, Eva
Seed addition experiment was conducted on the moisture gradient with aim to demonstrate that many species not accounted by current measures of species pools in a site should be included because they are in fact able to establish successfully if biotic filter is removed. Transplant experiment was established to compare the sensitivity of seedling recruitment and survival of transplants in the field. Recruitment of seedlings in field was observed and compared with germination of seeds under different chilling treatments in laboratory.
